There’s been a lot of changes at Nottingham Forest since the end of last season.
There is a new manager in place, a new backroom staff in place, and 14 new signings have been made to add to what was already an inflated squad.
One player who bid farewell to the City Ground at the end of last season was John Bostock, whose loan spell at Forest came to an end last term.
The 28-year-old spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan with Forest, making nine appearances across all competitions.

The former Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder made only one start in the Championship, though, and Forest didn’t look to re-sign him at the end of his loan spell.
Furthermore, Bostock – who made 17 appearances during a two-year stay in France – left Toulouse at the end of his contract, and is now looking to find a new club.
Bostock will be keen to get back playing sooner rather than later – he’s still at a good age, and he will feel that he still has plenty to offer in the game.
In the meantime, the midfielder will be looking to keep himself occupied, with the 28-year-old recently going to pick pumpkins with his family.
Bostock has also been training on his own in recent weeks, pictured in Forest training gear as he warms up and tries to get up to full fitness.
