Picking up 10 points from their last four games, Cardiff City have pushed up the league table to 17th place.

The Bluebirds have accumulated 21 points from their last 12 matches, enjoying a great couple of months under Steve Morison.

Cardiff now have eight games left to play in this Championship season and will be fully focused on giving themselves something to build on with next season in mind.

Uche Ikpeazu latest 

According to a Wales Online report, Middlesbrough would have to drop a £750,000 asking price for Uche Ikpeazu for the Bluebirds to sign him in the summer.

Ikpeazu, who impressed during the early stages of his Boro career, dropped down the pecking order in Teesside as a result of the arrival of Chris Wilder.

The 27-year-old has shown good form in a Cardiff shirt thus far, with his physicality and relentlessness causing problems for opposing defences.

Cardiff cast eyes over Salford striker 

Cardiff have been credited with an interest in Salford City striker Brandon Thomas-Asante, as per an exclusive Football League World report.

Reading and Swansea City are providing the Bluebirds with some divisional competition, whilst MK Dons, Wigan Athletic, Ipswich Town and Portsmouth are also in pursuit.

The 23-year-old has netted nine goals in 29 league games this season for the Ammies, adding a further two in the FA Cup.

Bluebirds want to re-sign current loanee

Cardiff would like to see Tommy Doyle return on another loan stint next season, as per a report from Wales Online.

The 20-year-old has been an excellent addition, providing real attacking threat, but has also shown good levels of maturity and intelligence.

Whether the Bluebirds are able to agree another deal with Manchester City remains to be seen, but if his time with Cardiff thus far is anything to go by, he will not be short of options going into the next campaign.

Cardiff interested in Welsh Premier League striker 

Cardiff are monitoring the progress of The New Saints striker Declan McManus, as per a Football League World exclusive.

The 27-year-old, who has netted 27 times in 34 appearances this season is enjoying an excellent campaign in Wales' top-flight.

The Welsh outfit are braced for offers after an incredible goalscoring season from the 27-year, with Cardiff one of a number of side currently tracking him.
