David Johnson was once tipped to be a top star in the English game.
After joining Manchester United upon leaving school the pathway to stardom was there for the winger to really establish himself.
Unfortunately, by his own admission, Johnson didn't take advantage of the opportunity given to him.
As part of 'the class of '92', Johnson rubbed shoulders with the likes of Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and David Beckham, Johnson failed to make a first team appearance for United but was an unused substitute for a Champions League match.
After a turbulent time at Old Trafford the winger left to kickstart his career with Bury where he made 97 appearances before joining Ipswich Town.

Johnson spent four years at Portman Road and helped the club to secure promotion to the Premier League before joining Nottingham Forest.
It was at the City Ground where we really saw him at his best by scoring 45 goals in 135 appearances between 2001 and 2006.
However his time at the club came to an end when a mixture of bad luck with injuries and a fallout with Gary Megson saw his career all-but end.
While Johnson did spend a brief time in non-league football, he's since made a career as a scout for both Chelsea and Leicester City.
