Hungarian international Akos Buzsaky spent five seasons at Queens Park Rangers.

Following more than two years in the Championship with Plymouth Argyle, the midfielder made the loan switch to Loftus Road during January of the 2007-08 campaign - with his opportunities rapidly decreasing at Home Park.

Buzsaky would make at instant impression in West London, scoring six goals in just 12 games, including braces against both Scunthorpe and Colchester.

Those 12 appearances were enough to earn him a permanent contract with Rangers, although an injury in a League Cup tie against Manchester United would stall his progress - restricting him to 11 only appearances during the 2008-09 season.

After returning to full fitness Buzsaky, made a major impact the next year as QPR finished 13th in the Championship - with the midfielder scoring 11 times in all competitions, which turned out to be the best return of his career.

Buzsaky was a part of the R's side that won promotion back to the Premier League - and he'd score his first topflight goal against Wigan in January 2012, before leaving Loftus Road at the end of the season despite QPR avoiding relegation.

But what has the Hungarian international been doing since leaving QPR?

Buzsaky remained in England following his departure and joined Portsmouth after a successful trial on the South Coast before a brief loan spell with Barnsley during December of 2012.

He'd play 13 times for Portsmouth in League One before returning to Hungary to sign for Ferencvaros in September 2013, although injury problems restricted him to just a handful of appearances, which forced him retire at the age of just 32 in March of 2015.
