With Cardiff City having scored just 16 goals this term, many Bluebirds fans will be hoping that their side can once again find some consistency in front of goal, as they aim to push up the table from their current position of eleventh in the Championship table.

With Robert Glatzel having been bought in by Neil Warnock this summer, many City fans will be looking towards the German striker to provide the goals needed to build upon their current run of just one defeat in their last five league fixtures.

One former Cardiff player who certainly knew where the net was during his time at the club is Jay Bothroyd, who of course netted 45 goals in over 130 appearances during his time at the Cardiff City Stadium, after turning out for the Bluebirds from 2008 to 2011.

The striker today provided his comments on a throwback tweet which was posted by the Cardiff City Twitter account earlier today, which showed the former Bluebirds striker in action alongside Steve McPhail, prompting a wide range of responses from the club's supporters via social media.
