Norwich City have been dealt a blow in their search for Alex Neil’s replacement, with two highly regarded coaches landing jobs at rival Sky Bet Championship clubs.

Gary Rowett and Mark Warburton have both recently been announced as Derby County and Nottingham Forest managers respectively, limiting the Canaries’ options for replacing Neil.

Neil was sacked by Norwich on Friday evening, as the club’s current campaign looks to be heading for disappointment.

Despite leading the Canaries to the Premier League in 2015, Neil has disappointed this season, with Norwich currently ninth in the Championship table and eight-points behind sixth placed Sheffield Wednesday.

The Canaries had been early season favourites for promotion and started the current season well, but failure to record a victory in November, saw Neil’s side fall out of the Play-Off positions.

Former England manager Roy Hodgson has been linked with the vacancy at Carrow Road, but with two Championship rivals making appointments this morning, here is how Norwich fans are reacting on Twitter…
