The midfielder joined the club for £4.05m from Liverpool in 2000.

Thompson went on to make 67 appearances for the club before moving on to Blackburn Rovers in 2002.

Now 43 years of age, Thompson works in the media and is regularly found on both BBC Merseyside and BBC 5Live.

The Moroccan moved to Coventry City in 1999 after leaving Deportivo La Caruna in a deal worth £5.4m

After scoring 12 goals in 62 appearances Hadji left the Sky Blues to join Aston Villa where he spent the next two years.

Since retiring the attacking midfielder has worked as both a coach and an ambassador for Morocco.

After joining Coventry City in 2001 for a fee of £6.75m, the striker moved on to join West Brom the following year.

Matters away from the football pitch stopped his career in their tracks however the frontman did continue playing up until April this year when he finally hung up his boots after playing for Grantham Town.

After joining from Wolves for £8.1m, Keane spent just one year with the Sky Blues before being snapped up by Inter Milan.

Since then he enjoyed a career at the highest level before working as a first team coach for Middlesbrough and Republic Of Ireland.

The Welsh striker takes the crown as Coventry City's most valuable signing after joining the club for £8.33m from Norwich City.

He went on to enjoy an excellent career where he played for several clubs including the likes of Newcastle United, West Ham United and Liverpool.

Since then Bellamy has started on the road to becoming a manager and coach.
