Premier League giants Manchester United are the latest high-profile club to be linked with a move to sign Leeds United star Jack Clarke.

The 18-year old has emerged as one of the brightest prospects in the Football League, having been influential for Marcelo Bielsa's men this term.

The winger has scored two goals and produced two assists for the Whites this term, after coming through the ranks at Elland Road.

Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are just a couple of Premier League sides who have already declared an interest in the talented youngster, whilst Southampton and Crystal Palace have also had approaches knocked back by the Whites.

But with Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's Manchester United now joining the race for Clarke, we discuss whether it would be a good signing for the Red Devils...

George Harbey

"This transfer saga looks like it'll never end!

"I dread to think of the uproar it would cause if Clarke did sign for Manchester United, but I really can't see it happening at all.

"Of course he'd be a fantastic signing for Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's men - he'd be another exciting star at Old Trafford, and the player has a superb future ahead of him."

Gary Hutchinson

"There’s only so many ways to say no to this question.

"I’ll try to be emphatic as I can. Jack Clarke should stay at Leeds United.

"They’ve got a good academy and whether it is Manchester United, Maidstone United or Real Madrid, he should stay put.

"There’s no value in a move. Leeds have raised him, they know him and he’s best served playing for them."

Jacob Potter

"What a waste of talent this'd be.

"Clarke is one of the most sought after English talents this year, and he has a bright future ahead of him - that's for sure.

"Manchester United wouldn't be the best place for him though, as he wouldn't be getting the game time he needs to develop with the Red Devils.

"There are better options out there for the youngster."
