It’s been a busy summer transfer window for Nottingham Forest, who have been amongst the Sky Bet Championship’s busiest clubs.

Aitor Karanka has overseen a summer reshape, with Barrie McKay the latest player to be axed from the City Ground ahead of the new season.

News has come this afternoon from Forest’s official website confirming that McKay has completed a move across the Championship to link up with Swansea City.

The 23-year-old featured on 26 occasions in the Championship last season for Forest, returning five goals and a further seven assists.

However, he found his opportunities limited when Karanka arrived, with the Spaniard happy to move the winger on this summer.

There was plenty of reaction from Forest’s supporters to McKay’s departure, with many disappointed that the winger couldn’t find his best consistently enough during his time at the City Ground.
