Nottingham Forest were left disappointed after being held to a late 1-1 draw against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds went into the clash full of confidence, on the back of winning their last three games in the Sky Bet Championship.

But Sabri Lamouchi's side prepared to come up against the in-form side in the division, with Reading winning their last four games and starting to look like an impressive outfit.

It was a cagey game throughout, with both sides seeing plenty of the ball but not really creating anything - as both sets of midfield battled really hard indeed.

Forest looked to have won the game in the 96th minute, though, with Ben Watson converting from close-range after the Royals failed to cope with a corner.

But only 30 seconds later, Reading found an equaliser in extraordinary fashion, with Tobias Figueiredo putting the ball in his own net after a Jordan Obita delivery.

No-one really stood out for Forest other than Samba Sow, who displayed real power and drive in midfield, forming a solid base alongside Ben Watson.
