Norwich City beat already promoted Brighton and Hove Albion at Carrow Road last night in bizarre circumstances.
Brighton, who would have been celebrating all week after clinching their first ever promotion to the top flight in the Premier League era on Monday, had the chance to win the league title with victory at Norwich.
However, they were sunk 2-0 with one of the more unexpected players bagging a brace.
It was Brighton’s goalkeeper David Stockdale who suffered a double stroke of ill fortune.
Alex Pritchard fired an effort on goal, it struck the post, cannoned back out, hit Stockdale and bounced into the net.
A short while later, the exact same combination occurred as Pritchard’s shot ricocheted off the post, onto Stockdale and in the goal again.
After David Stockdale struck two own goals, bet365 took the chance to wind up a few Ipswich fans.
Former Ipswich keeper David Stockdale has scored more goals at Carrow Road this season than the current Ipswich squad.

Ipswich fans were not impressed with this and here a few of the best messages in retaliation.
Will you have a reunion about this in 20 years?

So? Pretty sure most teams haven't scored two in an away game at Norwich this season.
