Nottingham Forest boss Martin O'Neill has made two changes for the visit of Aston Villa in what is a crucial game for both sides.

Attacking midfielder Joao Carvalho is in for a rare start under the new boss after his superb performance from the bench against Hull last time out, with the ex-Benfica man in for Leo Bonatini.

The other change sees Daryl Murphy drop to the bench with Karim Ansarifard given his first start under the Irishman after a goal against the Tigers as well.

The Reds are only two points behind the top six after a good run of form under O'Neill but they will face a big challenge from Villa who are firmly in the hunt for a top six finish themselves.

Therefore, it promises to be a cracker at the City Ground and it's fair to say the supporters were delighted with the team news.
