Fulham recovered from the staggeringly early sending off of Tomas Kalas to snatch a 1-1 draw against Reading, who knocked the Cottagers out of the Championship play offs at the semi finals last season.

It is now two 1-1 league draws in a row for Slavisa Jokanovic's side, but having been on the wrong end of a late equaliser on the opening weekend of the season when they hosted Norwich, they were only too happy to grab a point yesterday.

Despite playing pretty much the whole match with ten men, Fulham held out for around 60 minutes before Liam Kelly finally broke the deadlock.

However, the Whites found something left in the tank, and equalised eight minutes from time, when Kalas' fellow Chelsea loanee Lucas Piazon made the most of a sloppy Reading backpass, to net the equaliser against his former club.

Fulham fans on Twitter reacted with a mixture of pride in their team's battling display, grabbing a point which is astonishing in the circumstances, but also anger with the referee for a red card they want to see their side appeal.
