‘What a talent’ – Liverpool loanee continues to shine and has these Blackburn fans in awe

Blackburn made it three wins on the bounce following their last-gasp victory over Millwall on Wednesday – with Harvey Elliott and Adam Armstrong proving the difference.

After beating Lancashire rivals Preston, and then Barnsley, in recent days, Rovers were looking to record three consecutive Championship wins for the first time since last December.

And Tony Mowbray’s men looked on course to achieve that feat when Armstrong found the on-loan Liverpool man, Elliott, who curled a sumptuous effort into the top left-hand corner – leaving Millwall goalkeeper Bart Bialkowski grasping at thin air.

However, Lions left-back Scott Malone matched Elliott’s effort with a spectacular one of his own to level proceedings midway through the opening period.

But despite a frustrating evening for Armstrong, he struck in stoppage-time to keep Blackburn in touch with the top-six.

We’ve become accustomed to seeing the former Newcastle United striker on the scoresheet on an almost weekly basis, but Elliott’s performances still come as somewhat of a surprise.

His goal last night was his second in Rovers colours, and factoring in his three assists in just 10 appearances, it’s been a terrific start to the teenager’s loan spell at Ewood Park.

And here, we’ve been looking at how Blackburn supporters have been reacting to his showing against the Lions.
