Middlesbrough’s Carabao Cup run will continue with a fourth-round trip to face Premier League outfit, AFC Bournemouth.

Garry Monk’s side have enjoyed a successful start to the competition having entered at the second-round, breezing past Scunthorpe United and Aston Villa without conceding a goal.

Boro dealt with a tricky trip to Villa Park well on Tuesday evening, with a Patrick Bamford brace enough to sweep aside Villa, who had been reduced to 10 men following Tommy Elphick’s second-half dismissal.

The Teessiders have now been rewarded for their progression with a chance to go up against Premier League opposition, travelling over 300 miles to the south coast in late October to meet Eddie Howe’s, AFC Bournemouth.

Bournemouth have also enjoyed a successful start to the Carabao Cup competition, managing to overcome clashes with Birmingham City and Brighton and Hove Albion.

Following the fourth-round draw and confirmation of Middlesbrough’s mammoth trip to Bournemouth, here is how the club’s supporters reacted…
