West Brom continue to perform well under Darren Moore in the Championship, but the Baggies manager is not resting on his laurels with Newcastle defender Ciaran Clark on his January wish-list, according to the Daily Mail.

West Brom are the Championship's top scorers but have only managed one clean sheet all season, so Moore knows he will need to strengthen at the back if he is to maintain his side's promotion challenge.

So would Ciaran Clark be a good signing for West Brom?

We discuss.....

Alfie Burns

Absolutely – Clark is exactly the profile of player West Brom need.

He’s a great defender at Championship level and has experience of winning the title.

It could turn out to be one of January’s best pieces of business.

Gary Hutchinson

I think so.

He’s a Premier League player and has been at that level, on and off, for a while.

He’s got all the right attributes and could easily fit into a top Championship side, or a PL side.

He’s the sort of target I expect for WBA.

Jay Taylor

It’s a good signing regarding options at the back for West Brom and added depth.

There seems to be a slight weakness about their defence at present and adding in a Premier League player who is featuring quite regularly for Newcastle United; it would be a good signing.

The Baggies need to improve at the back if they want to go up, and eyeing a move for Clark is a decent start.

George Harbey

What a signing this'd be.

He’s a left-sided centre-half who is very experienced and has experience of getting out of this league.

It would be a great signing for the Baggies.
