Hull City are said to be interested in signing Liverpool youngster, Ben Woodburn on a season-long loan deal according to Goal.

The 19-year-old recently returned to Anfield, following the conclusion of a disappointing loan spell with Championship side, Sheffield United.

Woodburn made seven league appearances, of which just one were starts in Chris Wilder's side, as they eventually won promotion to the Premier League.

But it's highly unlikely that the young forward is going to be able to force his way into the Liverpool side anytime soon with Jurgen Klopp already having a number of stronger options available to him.

A potential move to Hull could be the ideal scenario for both parties involved, as it would see Woodburn get the regular game time he needs to further his development in senior football.

But would Woodburn be a good signing for the Tigers?

We discuss....

Louie Chandler:

"This could be a good move for Hull.

"Woodburn did not have a good time at all with Sheffield United last season, but he will no doubt be desperate to prove himself again.

"If Hull can get him playing anywhere near the level he apparently can, then he could have a Bowen-esque impact on the team."

Jacob Potter:

"What a signing this would be.

"Woodburn wasn't given a run in the Sheffield United side, and has a point to prove and definitely has unfinished business in the Championship.

"I would be slightly worried if I was a Hull supporter though, as he could potentially be a replacement for Jarrod Bowen ahead of next season."

Toby Wilding:

"I think this could be a good signing.

"The opportunities didn't exactly come thick and fast for him at Sheffield united, but I think Hull would choose to use him.

"Given the interest in the likes of Jarodd Bowen, the Tigers may well need someone with Woodburn's attacking instinct if they are to steer clear of the relegation zone next season."
