Norwich City have been in scintillating form this season with their latest win, a 3-0 defeat of derby rivals Ipswich Town consolidating their position at the top of the table.

A player who has excelled in Daniel Farke's side this season, has been 29-year-old midfielder Mario Vrancic, who has scored seven goals and provided five assists in 24 Championship appearances.

So how can Vrancic's season at Norwich be best summed up so far?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

“Excellent.

“He’s been a key player in their charge up the table.

“This latest injury blow is huge for them.

“They need players like him fit and ready.”

Jacob Potter

"What a signing this has proved to be!

"Vrancic has only made 12 starts in the Championship for Norwich this season, but with seven goals and five assists to his name, he’s certainly made an impact.

"He’ll play a starring role in firing Norwich to promotion this season, and the Canaries will need him fit and raring to go as soon as possible."

Jay Taylor

“He’s had a storming season – Norwich would not be where they are without the German.

“That might seem irrational with the goals Teemu Pukki has scored, but Vrancic does a lot of work that goes unnoticed.

“He is the to Norwich what Stefan Johansen was to Fulham last season – irreplaceable.”
