The 30-year-old becomes the Baggies' seventh signing of the summer and has signed a two-year deal at the Hawthorns for an undisclosed fee, which is reported to be £4million.

West Brom head coach Slaven Bilic was determined bring in another striker before the transfer deadline, after Dwight Gayle, Jay Rodriguez and Salomon Rondon all left the Hawthorns this summer.

Gayle and Rodriguez scored 46 goals between them for West Brom last season and Bilic was keen to strengthen his attacking options further, having already signed striker Kenneth Zohore from Cardiff City last month.
