Salford City have announced the deadline day signing of striker James Wilson from Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen. 

The 24-year-old has put to pen to paper on deadline day, joining City on an 18-month deal.

Wilson, a product of Manchester United's academy, has struggle for game time with Aberdeen this term, having only made 11 Premiership appearances.

After making 20 appearances for Manchester United's first team, Wilson has also had spells with Derby County, Brighton and Hove Albion and Sheffield United.
