Reading beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 in the Championship yesterday.

Goals from Yakou Meite, George Puscas and Sam Baldock gave Reading their first win since New Year's Day.

A cutting through ball from Ovie Ejaria presented Meite with his 6th goal of the season in the first-half, and Puscas flicked home a second Reading goal in the second, his eighth of the season.

Baldock then sealed the win from the penalty spot in injury time, and made for a happy road back to Berkshire for the travelling supporters.

The performance got a lot of praise from fans who've witnessed some poor ones since the turn of the year, and Meite received a lot of individual praise too.

He became the first Reading player since Adam Le Fondre in 2012/13 to reach double figures for goals in all competitions in consecutive seasons, and now has four in his last seven.
