Sky Bet League Two side Leyton Orient have completed the signing of Shrewsbury Town striker Lee Angol, for an undisclosed fee.

The O's have been active in the summer transfer window thus far, bringing in Dagenham and Redbridge forward Conor Wilkinson after the departure of Macauley Bonne to Charlton Athletic.

And the London club have now added even more firepower to their front-line, signing Angol on a two-year deal from League One side Shrewsbury Town.

The 24-year-old signed for the Shropshire club from Mansfield Town last August, scoring just three goals in 17 league appearances before moving on loan to League Two champions Lincoln City in January.

After failing to find the back of the net in just two appearances for the Imps, the forward will now be looking to hit the ground running at Orient, as they look to form another push for promotion after winning the National League title last term.
