Liverpool have initiated talks with Stoke City to seal a £13m move for winger Xherdan Shaqiri, according to the Telegraph.
Is £13m a snip for the Swiss star? Do Liverpool need him?
We discuss....

At the fee, what a signing.
£13m is nothing nowadays and whilst Shaqiri won't be a regular starter he is a fine option for the squad and from the bench. It's a good deal for Liverpool and Stoke will be gutted he had a relegation clause.
Alfie Burns
I think this is shrewd business from Liverpool.
Shaqiri won’t be a starter at Anfield, but across a long season, he will provide depth to Klopp’s squad.
Liverpool looked short of attacking options on occasion last season, and signing Shaqiri will help to solve that.
Jay Williams
At £13m, Liverpool could certainly do a lot worse.
Although Shaqiri would not start for the Reds, he is a useful player to have off the bench because he does have that moment of magic in him.
Stoke are resigned to losing him - due to his contract situation - and they will already be thinking of how to replace him with that money.
Gary Hutchinson
I suppose for £13m he's at a good price and he'll be an impact sub, no more at Liverpool.
Being totally honest, I'm not convinced. He seems to be a 'when the going is good' type of player, although I'm told otherwise by Stoke fans. If I were a Liverpool fan, I'd be underwhelmed.
