18-year-old Reiss Nelson looks set to have a bright future at Arsenal Football Club.

But, his chances of breaking into the starting eleven next season look relatively slim, so a loan move to a Championship club could do him a world of good.

Leeds United will be looking to revamp their team next season as they look to launch an assault on the coveted top six spots, and manager Paul Heckingbottom will be looking for new recruits to spark the team into life.

Nelson could be one player on Hecky's radar, as he looks to inject a bit of youthful exuberance into his armoury.

Would Nelson and Leeds be a good fit? Would a loan move be a wise idea?

We discuss the prospect....

Jay Williams

After last summer's transfer failings, Leeds need to start looking at domestic additions and Nelson could be a superb signing.

Although he is only 18, Nelson has demonstrated that he is capable of slotting into Arsenal's first team and playing his part for the Premier League side.

A season in the Championship would do him good and toughen him up - while there are questions over his physicality, he certainly has enough natural talent to overcome this.

Gary Hutchinson

Who knows? Genuinely, that isn't something any of us can call.

How good is Nelson, in real terms? He's got little to no experience as a regular starter so we're working on assumptions and hype.

My gut feeling would be no, Leeds have young players of their own and could get better, more proven kids for their fight.

Ben Barkworth

Nelson would be a smart loan signing to bring in because of the threat he can provide from wide areas. Although he is versatile because he can play all along the front line.

He would add something different to the team, thereby increasing the options available to Heckingbottom.

George Dagless

A calculated gamble.

I like the look of Nelson, he seems a bright talent who is just hungry to play and so that should see him be a hit at Leeds if he moves.

However, it would be a gamble given he's a young player with little experience of senior football up to now.

Chris Gallagher

What a signing he'd be!

The youngster is destined to be a top player with Arsenal and is already making an impact in the first-team squad.

However, regular football won't come at the Emirates next season, so Leeds should do all they can to bring him in.

With blistering pace, great skill and fine technique he would solve a big problem out wide for the Whites.

The 18-year-old is an exciting talent and I’m sure he would benefit from a loan move to the Championship.

However, next season is going to be a big one for Leeds and I’m not sure that Elland Road would be the best place for Nelson’s development.

Personally, I’d rather see Leeds give their own academy a chance if they are turning to youth.
