Burnley are said to be set to pay a fee of £12 million in order to bring the Irishman to Turf Moor this summer and have been keen on the player for quite some time.

I don't think £12m is all that bad considering Stoke's position & the amount of games he has played. I'd imagine a decent sell on fee will be included too

Well if true getting rid of all our high earners and now our most promising youngsters who at least could give us a hope of progressing as they do will leave us as a mediocre div 1 team with fans that deserve far better

Need the money to balance those books and it’s a decent fee considering our position. We’re a club who will sell its best assets now and that’s just how it is. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

God I hope not. Why sell the family silver at lower than his worth. Burnley will sell him for £35m inside 2 years

A pathetic deal if it goes through. How did it come to this stoke? What a shambles of a club.

Rushed deal yet again. Could have easily held out for at least £18-20 mil by August. https://t.co/9W8MshzdqW
