‘What a player’, ‘Would start you every game’ – Loads of Bristol City fans react to star man’s jubilant message

Bristol City midfielder Niclas Eliasson has shared a triumphant message after he played a vital role in the Robins’ emphatic 5-2 victory over Huddersfield on Saturday.
The 23-year-old was named in Lee Johnson’s starting line-up for just the fourth league match this season, and he made a considerable impact as he found the net and provided an assist for Ashley Williams during an electric performance.
Eliasson also forced Huddersfield defender Terence Kongolo into scoring an own goal during a relentless first-half display, with the Robins bouncing back in style following their 4-1 defeat at the hands of West Brom in midweek.
The result saw Bristol City move back up to fifth in the Championship table with the festive period approaching, and Eliasson’s impressive showing over the weekend means he can expect to feature heavily over the coming matches.
He took to Twitter after the match to share an ecstatic message with supporters:
Great team performance and 3 big points Saturday! Thanks for the support ππ½β€οΈ @BristolCity pic.twitter.com/OMxumLFqi1
