‘What a player’ – Leeds United fans come out in force to wish former player well

Leeds United are having a decent season all things considered in the Championship, as they sit well within sight of obtaining a top six finish under new manager Thomas Christiansen.

The Whites have brought in some excellent players over the summer and are now reaping the rewards with some of their performances, although yesterday saw them fall to a miserable defeat away at Birmingham City.

Today though is brings about a different type of celebration for the Leeds faithful, with the news of former right back and legend Tony Dorigo’s birthday.

The club took time out to wish their former full back happy birthday on Twitter today in what was a nice touch from the Elland Road club.

As usual with anything involving former players and ones as highly thought of as Dorigo, plenty of Leeds fans took the chance to take time out and send their own well wishes to the former England man.
