Barnsley drew 2-2 with league leaders West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns last night, however The Reds will of been disappointed to not return home will all three points having led 2-0 at half-time.

Cauley Woodrow scored two early goals to give caretaker manager Adam Murray visions of a dream win. Bambo Diaby scored an own goal, before Brazilian forward Matheus Pereira netted a late leveller.

It was another positive performance and result for Murray though, which came just days after picking up a point at home to Swansea City.

It’s vital that Barnsley keep up that level of performance when facing the teams around them. Their game at Huddersfield on Saturday presents them with a huge opportunity to gain three points.

Dimitri Cavare struggled for game time under Daniel Stendel, largely due to the full-back picking up injuries which hindered his development at Oakwell this season.

But he was hugely impressive against West Brom on Tuesday, with plenty of Barnsley fans taking to social media to issue their thoughts on his performance on the night.
