Robert Snodgrass has become the latest of Leeds United's former stars to wish the club a happy 99th birthday.

The club have been inundated with messages, with the likes of Luciano Becchio, James Milner and Lucas Radebe all showing their thanks to the team they became so synonymous with.

And, they have been joined by one of their best players from the last ten years in current West Ham United winger Snodgrass.

He scored ten goals and assisted 14 more as the club were promoted back to the second tier from League One at the end of the 2009/10 season.

Snodgrass made nearly 200 appearances for the Whites, scoring 41 goals and assisting 40 during his time, becoming a fans favourite with his ability on the pitch.

Such form meant he eventually moved in to Norwich and whilst that annoyed fans at the time, looking back many appreciate just how good the Scotland international was at Elland Road.

That was reflected in the comments to Snodgrass' message. Here's how some supporters reacted on twitter...
