‘What a joke’, ‘Why the agenda?’ – These Derby fans are not happy with Lampard’s XI vs Leeds

Derby County boss Frank Lampard has made one change for tonight’s crucial play-off second leg against Leeds United with Mason Bennett replacing Dave Nugent.

The Rams struggled against Marcelo Bielsa’s side at Pride Park on Saturday, however Kemar Roofe’s goal was all the Whites had to show for their superiority, so it’s very much game on.

And, Lampard has been forced into one change with the experienced Nugent missing out and local lad Bennett coming in to replace him as the central striker in a 4-3-3 formation, with Martyn Waghorn still unavailable.

He has been chosen ahead of summer signing Jack Marriott, who once again has to settle for a place on the bench.

Elsewhere, Duane Holmes is available to provide energy and bite in midfield, with Harry Wilson, Mason Mount and Tom Lawrence the players the visitors will rely on to unlock the Leeds defence.

It’s fair to say the fans weren’t too happy with the team news, particularly Marriott’s omission.

Here’s some of the reaction on Twitter…
