Wycombe Wanderers have completed the signing of Newcastle United winger Rolando Aarons on loan until January, the club has confirmed.

The 23-year-old has joined the Adams Park outfit on a temporary basis until January 13th and will go straight into the squad for Saturday's clash with Lincoln City on Saturday.

Aarons joined Newcastle in 2012 following his release from Bristol City and has made 18 Premier League appearances for the Magpies, while he also impressed on loan with Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship last season.

The England Under-20 international will now bolster the Chairboys' attacking options in the first half of their League One campaign, as Steve Bruce was unable to find space for him in Newcastle's 25-man Premier League squad.

Newcastle announced Aarons' departure to the League One side via their Twitter account on Monday afternoon:

Plenty of Newcastle supporters responded to the announcement, with many of them labelling it as an excellent deal for Wycombe. Others claimed the success of the move could depend on if Aarons can stay fit.
