Fulham stepped up their preparations ahead of the new season, as they drew 1-1 with Oxford United in a pre-season friendly.

New signing, Anthony Knockaert opened the scoring on the night with a well-struck free-kick, although the Lilywhites were unable to find a winner in the second-half.

It was Knockaert's first goal for the club, and he couldn't have asked for a better strike to open his account for his new club.

It comes just days after it was announced that the Frenchman had signed for Fulham from Brighton on a season-long loan deal, with a view to a permanent move in the summer of 2020.

Knockaert will be hoping to recapture his best form for Scott Parker's side, as they look to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

Plenty of Fulham supporters took to social media to issue high-praise for the winger after his debut goal.
