‘What a guy’ – These Bristol City fans react to defender’s assessment on current problems at Ashton Gate

Bristol City’s poor run of form in the Championship continued on Saturday, as they were beaten by in-form Barnsley at Ashton Gate.
Carlton Morris’ goal on 67 minutes proved to be the difference between the two teams on the day, which means that the Robins are now sat 15th in the second-tier standings.
More worryingly though, Bristol City have now lost their last seven matches in all competitions, with that poor run of results seeing Dean Holden relieved of his duties after the defeat to Reading.
Do you know how many goals Bristol City's top goalscorers scored in their time with the club?
Bristol City defender Tomas Kalas featured in the defeat against the Tykes, and admitted that his side aren’t troubling the opposition enough when going forward.
The Robins only had one shot in the entire match against Barnsley, and they’ll be eager to improve that when they return to action against play-off chasing Middlesbrough in midweek.
Plenty of Bristol City supporters took to social media to react to Kalas’ recent assessment of their disappointing defeat to Barnsley.
Take a look at the best of the reaction from Twitter below….
Great interview. Talks accurately and talks like a leader. One of the few this season that can be proud of their performances.
Kalas and Bentley have every right to be absolutely fuming with what's going on around them most weeks

Great interview, talks sense and says it how it is! 👏🏻

Putting a brave face on the mess that has been created by dean Holden. He has sapped the confidence with his poor management ability which all started when he chose his coaches. For me Holden is fully to blame for this mess.

This really is a worrying interview and suggests to me real problems in the dressing room, as seen by the performance and apparent lack of team spirit on the pitch! Situation feels toxic at the club??!! Top man Kalas though!!

Really honest appraisal of things, what a guy. Suspect that’ll be the last he’ll speak again lol but the fans are actually behind the players and want them to do well! We dont want much, just want some nice football, plenty of cider and to win every week 😂👍 #kalaswhataguy

Love this. Hope they're all having a look in the mirror. Take some responsibility lads. Need to stop going out trying not to lose and go out to win. Might get alot of fans back on side at least if u all take ownership of what you're ment to do

If only we had 11 of him……….

Him and Bentley, the only 2 that can hold their heads up. Bin off the all the others and start again

This guy is an international footballer and look what we’ve done to him 🤷♂️

His face tells the story of what is really going on in that dressing room! I love this guy! Just tells it how it is and is brutally honest all the time! I hope we can keep hold of him!

Top bloke, he really really hurts and you can tell by the tone he means it
Where the extra impetus will come from I'm not sure
