Blackburn Rovers enjoyed their first win of the 2016/17 season after beating fellow strugglers Rotherham United 4-2 at Ewood Park on Saturday.

Goals from Craig Conway, Marvin Emnes, Ben Marshall and Sam Gallagher ensured the home side pick up their first three points of the campaign.

However, it was the visitors who took the lead when Danny Ward slotted the ball past Rovers goalkeeper Jason Steele in the 12th minute. Ten minutes later, Conway was able to find an equaliser for the hosts.

The 31-year-old then found Emnes to put Blackburn ahead, and winger Marshall gave Owen Coyle's side a two goal cushion just 15 seconds into the second-half.

As the game entered its final stages, Rotherham were looking for a frantic end as Ward got his second to close the gap to one goal. However, Emnes assisted loanee Gallagher in stoppage time to secure all three points for Blackburn Rovers.

The result lifted the Lancashire club off the foot of the table into 23rd on goal difference, whilst Alan Stubbs' Millers are one place above the relegation zone.

Blackburn's 4-2 victory came to much of the delight of the supporters, who got to see Coyle's first league victory in charge at Ewood Park, but how did the internet react to Rovers' win?
