Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association after his post-match rant at referee Jeremy Simpson, after their 1-1 draw with Brentford.

The Swedish international, who netted a late equaliser for Marcelo Bielsa's men in their clash against the Bees, vented his anger at Simpson after his performance last weekend, in which he awarded Brentford a controversial penalty, then sent off off Leeds’ defender Luke Ayling in the dying embers of the game

“It (the result) feels s**t - this was a robbery from the referee so it feels bad”, Jansson ranted to Sky Sports after the game.

“Do you think I should be happy? No chance”, he added.

It is likely that Jansson will be fined for his actions, but isn't likely to miss any games which is somewhat of a boost to Marcelo Bielsa.
