Leeds United crashed to a third defeat in four matches on Sunday as they were beaten 3-2 by bottom-of-the-league Ipswich Town at Portman Road.

The defeat will have been the last thing that the fans wanted to see after witnessing the collapse of their automatic promotion ambitions over the past weeks with confidence continuing to slump.

But a small silver lining emerged on Monday when the Yorkshire Evening Post reported that attacking midfielder Tyler Roberts expects to be fit for the play-offs.

The Whites will face Derby County with the first-leg taking place at 17:15 on Saturday night and they will need as many players available as possible.

So, just how big a boost is this for Leeds?

We discuss...

George Harbey

"You’ve got to say it’s a boost.

"Roberts is arguably one of Leeds’ most improved players this season, and has really flourished in the attacking midfield role.

"In my view, Bielsa needs to play him down the middle rather than out wide, as he plays his best football next to Klich in the middle of the park."

Jacob Potter

"What a boost this is for Leeds.

"They badly missed Roberts' creativity in the defeat to Ipswich, and he'll surely be coming straight back into the side if he's deemed fit enough to start.

"This could tilt the game against Derby in their favour in my opinion."

Toby Wilding

"This will be welcome news for Leeds.

"There has been little to smile about around the senior squad recently, and they looked badly short of attacking options going into the play-offs.

"Roberts potential return gives them someone to turn to, and the pressure may now be on him to perform for Leeds in what is set to be a crucial few weeks."
