West Bromwich Albion supporters have been debating whether the club should re-sign midfielder Claudio Yacob from Nottingham Forest in the January transfer window, if the Baggies were to offered the chance to do so.

Yacob has struggled to make an impact at Nottingham Forest this season, and the midfielder only managed to make 16 appearances for the Reds last campaign, but this term he has found life even tougher at the City Ground, with the likes of Ben Watson, Samba Sow, Alfa Semedo and Tiago Silva all ahead of him in the pecking order.

The 32-year-old was an impressive performer for most of his spell at the Hawthorns, making over 15o appearances for the club, with the Argentine offering plenty of bite and steel to the Baggies midfield during his time at the club, which arguably West Brom lacked at times last season.

However, this campaign Slaven Bilic has assembled a really strong group of midfielders, with the likes of Romaine Sawyers and Jake Livermore forming a real solid partnership at the base of midfield, which suggests that there would be little real need for the Baggies to look to re-sign Yacob in January.

Yacob, himself will not be wanting to simply swap a lack of game time with Forest, with a lack of game time with West Brom, and would be wanting to play regular games given he is entering the final years of his professional career, so a move might not be the best idea for both parties.

Here, though, we take a look at how West Brom fans have been debating the potential of a Yacob return on social media...
