Birmingham City have revealed their third kit for the 2021/22 campaign, which drawn a frustrated reaction from many fans of the West Midlands club.

The Championship club kept with their signature blue and white home kit this season while their away strip is yellow and blue, with both announced in the summer.

But they've pushed the boat out a little with their limited edition third kit, which has been revealed today.

The green and orange kit has the same patterned texture as the blue home kit but features a tonal woven badge embroidered into the shirt, which the club have suggesteed means "wherever Bluenoses go the badge of the Second City is stitched into everything they do".

The kit is made with at least 75% recycled fibres as part of Nike's Move to Zero initiative.

It's unclear when we'll see Bowyer's side don the third kit for the first time, or if at all, but it seems unlikely to be for the trip to face Hull City on Saturday as they wear orange and black themselves.

The announcement has caused a stir among many Birmingham fans on Twitter, with many revealing their frustration.
