David Moyes wants Grady Diangana to be a key player for West Ham United next season, after an impressive loan spell at West Bromwich Albion.

The 22-year-old has been an influential player for the Baggies this season, helping Slaven Bilic's side mount a push for the Championship's automatic promotion places.

The playmaker has scored five goals and chipped in with six assists in 22 Championship appearances  for Bilic's side this season, before picking up a hamstring injury against Stoke City in January.

Do you know where these 18 ex-West Brom players are playing now?

Diangana has made only six Premier League starts for West Ham since coming through the ranks at the London Stadium, and is yet to feature under David Moyes.

But as per reports from Football London, Moyes wants Diangana to be a key player for West Ham next season, as he looks to bring the average age of his first-team squad down.

West Brom will obviously be keen to keep Diangana beyond this season, and were reportedly willing to pay £3m for his services until the end of the season despite having already penned a 12-month loan.

But with another five years on his contract at West Ham, he is clearly one for the future.

The Verdict

Diangana is an exceptional talent and it comes as no surprise to see Moyes wanting to use him next year.

He has thrived out on loan and now has a real taste for first-team football, and he should be an exciting option for the Hammers in the Premier League next season.

West Brom will be gutted if they can't keep him permanently, but Bilic is bound to have plans for replacements if not.
