According to Claret and Hugh, West Ham United’s move for Scott Hogan could be in jeopardy.

With many reports suggesting that a deal is all but done for Hogan to complete his switch from West London to East London, Claret and Hugh is instead suggesting that West Ham have their reservations about finalising the deal.

It is believed that West Ham are concerned by Scott Hogan’s injury record over the past few years.

Their current forwards, especially Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho, are prone to injury and the Hammers are reluctant to bring in another player who might face a spell on the sidelines.

Furthermore, the Hammers believe that Hogan’s price tag – believed to be between £10m and £15m – is over inflated.

The 24-year-old has previously struggled with knee injuries, which have kept him out for long periods of time.

Despite that, the former Rochdale man has hit 16 goals in 24 games this season for the Bees.
