West Ham United have made an enquiry about Wolverhampton Wanderers target Anderson Talisca, according to reports emerging from the Turkish media.

Turkish newspaper Hurriyet via Sport Witness reports that West Ham have enquired about Talisca as they look to steal a march on other potential suitors.

Wolves have been strongly linked with the attacker, who can play either as an attacking midfielder or as a striker.

West Ham are hoping to beat Wolves and Roma to the signing of Talisca after losing attackers Andre Ayew and Diafra Sakho in the January transfer window.

Wolves, meanwhile, are hoping to bolster their squad for their Premier League campaign after storming to the title in the Championship.

Benfica have received an enquiry from West Ham about the 24-year-old, who looks set to leave the Portuguese club this summer.

The Brazil under-23 international has been on loan at Turkish club Besiktas for the last two years, impressing this term with 19 goals and four assists in 45 games.

This includes four goals in this season's Champions League.

But Besiktas are not prepared to make his deal permanent, according to reports, prompting interest from the Hammers, Wolves and Roma.

Wolves face a battle to secure the Brazilian's signature now with West Ham already making an enquiry.

The Verdict

Wolves need to act fast to ensure they do not miss out on this transfer.

On paper, you'd have Wolves down as favourites to land the Brazilian due to their links with Portugal.

But West Ham seem serious about snapping him up and the attacking midfielder's goal threat would really help the Irons as well.
