Skybet Championship side Norwich City is set to compete with Premier League side West Ham United for Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun, according to Bleacher Report.

The German-born striker has been a revelation since moving from Germany to Turkey with Tosun scoring 68 goals in 178 Super-Lig games.

Having played a relatively minor role in Besiktas' title win last season with just eight goals and four assists, this season Tosun has been in insatiable form with sixteen goals and three assists in just twenty-two Super Lig appearances.

As the top goalscorer in the Super Lig by a considerable margin, the 25-year-old striker has been linked with a return to Western European football.

Premier League side West Ham United who has already brought Gokhan Tore to their club on loan from Besiktas are reportedly keen on the Turkish striker.

However, it appears that Championship side Norwich City are also in contention as they look to add the additional firepower to help fire them to promotion back to the Premier League.

Although Besiktas will be reluctant to let their prized asset go, it seems that Tosun may be on the move in the summer potentially to Norwich City.
