Norwich have little to play for this season but there does seem to be a fair sense of optimism about the club right now.

For sure, it's not been the campaign many would have wanted in terms of challenging for the play-offs but with this year the first under Daniel Farke, there has been some good signs.

Certainly, then, next season is being seen as the one where the Yellows really go for it and it'll be interesting to see who the club manages to sign and, indeed, keep in the summer window.

They've got some big names to keep hold of but if they can do that and add, a promotion challenge isn't out of the question.

Here's the XI for next season we think could see the Yellows near the sharp end...

Norwich should do all they can to keep Angus Gunn at the club.

Ivo Pinto is a real rock at right back and should be staying put.

Timm Klose is another man the Canaries will want to keep.

Reece Oxford still needs minutes to start progressing and showing his ability. Maybe Norwich should offer that.

Jamal Lewis is a good talent down the left and should be retained.

Harrison Reed is another player the Yellows should try to keep hold of.

Tom Trybull is a top midfielder and could be pivotal to the club's chances.

Sunderland are on the way down so the Yellows should try and bring in exciting attacker Joel Asoro.

It'll be a hard task but if the Yellows can keep James Maddison that'll be some bonus.

Josh Murphy has plenty of class and can help the club get promoted.

Jack Marriott is too good for League One and the Canaries should use their geographical advantage to take him from Peterborough.
