West Ham and Stoke weighing up move for £8m-rated Championship midfielder

Mark Hughes and Stoke City are plotting a move for Norwich City winger Nathan Redmond, according to an exclusive report by the Sun.

As Norwich City prepare for life in the Championship, Alex Neil faces the difficult task of keeping his side together for a long arduous Championship campaign.

One player who looks unlikely to remain at the Canaries beyond this summer is former England Under 21 starlet, Nathan Redmond.

The winger has already began attracting attention from a number of Premier League sides including West Ham and Stoke – and it is set to continue to intensify throughout the summer.

Nathan Redmond is entering into the final  year of his contract, and his price tag is more likely to be halved with Premier League sides looking more willing to spend £8 million on the talented winger.

A long time admirer of Redmond is Mark Hughes and Nathan Redmond could potentially fit Stoke City’s new identity as a fast fluid counter attacking side.

It would be a big blow for Alex Neil and Norwich City but there is plenty of time for Norwich City to look for a potential replacement.

Norwich City fans, how do you feel about the news? Do you expect Redmond to leave this summer? Will you be disappointed by his departure if he does leave and who would you suggest comes in to replace him? Let us hear your thoughts and opinions in the comment section below!
