West Ham and Stoke City are the latest sides to show an interest in Brighton and Hove Albion centre-back Lewis Dunk, according to Vital West Ham.

The 23-year-old has had a magnificent season with Brighton, despite the club struggling and his impressive form has seen him attract interest from the Premier League.

A price tag of £5 million has been slapped on his head in an attempt to ward off interest from Premier League and Championship sides alike, as Chris Hughton has made very clear that he wants to keep one of his star players.

Tottenham Hotspur courted him at the back end of 2014, and Newcastle United, Everton and West Brom all joined the chase a few months ago.

Fellow Championship sides Derby County and Fulham have both been linked with the centre back, who has seven goals to his name this year, and now Sam Allardyce and Mark Hughes are both vying for his signature.

Dunk, a product of the Brighton academy, was a runner up in Albion's player of the season vote.

The south coast club side finished in 20th place in the Sky Bet Championship, accumulating 47 points this season.
