The full Scottish international and former Wycombe Wanderers player was one of the few positives in Queens Park Rangers' stint in the Premier League, with his memorable goal against Crystal Palace epitomising that.

With Tony Pulis confirming that Victor Anichebe and Stephan Sessegnon are both leaving the club when their contracts expire in July, Pulis has confirmed he is in the market for an attacking midfielder who can double up as a winger.

One player that Pulis has been a long time admirer of is, in fact, Matt Phillips. The pacy winger could provide excellent competition for West Brom's current wide options or fill the void left by Sessegnon.

Also with Queens Park Rangers looking at least another season away from challenging for promotion, Matt Phillips may look to return to the Premier League through a move to West Bromwich Albion being a potential destination.

Whether or not, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will be willing to sell Phillips or not is yet to be seen but it could be a potentially taken out of his hands if Phillips attempts to force a move.
