As West Brom look to a swift Premier League return, there must be some fans who still have painful memories of last season.

Whilst they're fully focused on the here and now, some of the incidents and occurrences last season must have left them feeling embarrassed, jaded and at times ashamed.

The situation with the taxi in Barcelona has to rank as one of the most cringeworthy in living memory.

Losing 6-1 against Fulham during their relegation season in 2005/06 was humiliating and embarrassing.

The Cottagers secured their biggest ever Premier League win as the Baggies were ultimately relegated.
