West Bromwich Albion are still right in the thick of the Championship’s promotion race this season and where they end up come May could well depend on the business they do between now and the end of January.

Darren Moore will know that major changes don’t need to be made at this stage and he has recruited shrewdly so far, with Mason Holgate seemingly an impressive capture.

Whilst the Hawthorns boss will be looking to add more to his side to replace the recently departed Harvey Barnes, others could be on the way out before February comes around.

A number of young players could be pushing for a loan move away, whilst others who have found themselves firmly on the fringe this season could be axed by Moore.

With that in mind, we focus on outgoings, identifying TWO the Baggies will surely be saying bye to in the next week or so…

Jonathan Leko

Leko is a talented wide player, but he isn’t getting enough chances at the Hawthorns.

The 19-year-old has featured on just four occasions for the first-team this season and only once in the Championship.

That’s not helping his development and he needs a fresh start, even if that’s on loan.

Albion need to find him a move in the next few weeks.

Tyrone Mears

Mears extended his contract with Albion until the end of January, but it is hard to see him staying past the end of the month.

The right-back, 35, has made seven Championship appearances this season, but the last of those came in early November.

You can't imagine we will see him featuring under Moore much from here, so a departure could be on the cards.
