So far this summer there has been only one priority for West Brom, and that is appointing a new manager.

A host of names have been mentioned, from Chris Wilder to Bruno Labbadia, Slavisa Jokanovic and Lee Bowyer. But now Slaven Bilic appears to be the favourite to take over.

As a result, there have not been too many comings and goings, likely due to a desire to leave decisions regarding transfers to the incoming manager.

Whilst West Brom have not been linked with too many players, there is endless speculation about the likes of Salomon Rondon, Jay Rodriguez and Craig Dawson, and it is unlikely any of them will be Baggies players when the transfer window closes.

If West Brom don't have a manager in place soon they could have a lot of catching up to do, and that situation will be made worse by the departure of one or two key players.

Here is a round-up of the latest transfer rumours regarding players who they have been linked with and those who could be on their way out.

Jonny Williams

The 25-year-old midfielder spent the second half of last season at Charlton where he began to rekindle the kind of form which made him such a hot prospect at Crystal Palace in his younger days.

The Wales international is on West Brom's radar with his contract due to expire at the end of the month.

He still has something to offer at Championship level and if the Baggies can get the best out of him then he could prove to be a real bargain. The only concern is his injury record but he proved his fitness in the spell in South London.

Owen Windsor

This is a move that is very close to being completed according to GloucestershireLive. Windsor is just 17, and so clearly one for the future, but he has impressed in the Southern League Division One South , where he has scored six goals in seven starts for Cirencester.

The striker will likely end up in West Brom's under 23 team, but considering the potential departures, he could be the only striking option available to the new manager, Windsor could have a role to play in pre season, which would be great for his confidence.

Chelsea were also rumoured to be interest, which highlights the potential of the Hartpury scholar.

George Edmundson

Oldham defender Edmundson could find himself in a transfer tussle between West Brom and Rangers, according to BirminghamLive.

The 21-year-old defender has impressed in League Two this season, and could be viewed as a long-term replacement for the possibly departing Craig Dawson.

He made 54 appearances this season in his breakthrough year, which is brilliant statistic for such a young player. It shows he is trustworthy and dependable. West Brom have reportedly sent scouts to watch him and he could be available for as little as £500,000.

Jay Rodriguez

It would be a blow for West Brom to lose another key striker following Dwight Gayle's return to Newcastle. Rodriguez scored 22 goals in the Championship and would be difficult to replace.

Former club Burnley are interested, as are Bournemouth and Sheffield United. Baggies fans were dealt a further blow following the news that a clause in his contract means that he could be available for as little as £5 million due to West Brom's failure to win promotion.

His goals and influence would be very difficult to replace. It wouldn't have been too bad if they received a good fee for him, as they could have brought in an effective replacement. The new manager will have his work cut out.

Craig Dawson

Burnley are interested in the defender for a reported £15 million fee, and he would love a move back to the Premier League.

He has become a stalwart in the Baggies defence in recent years, having made 196 appearances in total for the club. He was one of their most consistent performers in the Premier League and he has equally impressed in the Championship.

Like Rodriguez, this is not the type of transfer news fans will want to see, so it is important a manager comes in quickly and begins a rebuild.
