Championship promotion hopefuls West Brom are looking to make a January move for Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack.
According to the Sun on Sunday, (print edition, Sunday 16th September 2018), the Baggies and manager Darren Moore want to sign Dack, who was influential for Rovers last term in League One and has seemingly carried that form into the Championship this time around.
However, Albion could face competition for the former Gillingham man, with Premier League Leicester City also considering a move for the playmaker.
Rovers have made a decent start to life back in the second tier and caused quite the stir when they splashed money on Nottingham Forest youngster Ben Brereton during the summer window.
Dack has been crucial to this form, scoring three goals for the club already and becoming the key man with whom Tony Mowbray’s men play through.
The 24-year-old is well settled at Ewood Park, but would no doubt find a big money move – especially into the top flight – a hard one to resist.
Known for his deadball delivery and ability to score the spectacular, Dack could well become the next player in a long line of Championship talents to make the jump into the Premier League with ease.
West Brom meanwhile drew 1-1 with Birmingham over the weekend, and manager Moore will no doubt be eyeing the likes of Dack to fire his side up the Championship table.
